2005 Little League World Series! |

On August 18, the McLean Little League Softball All-Stars, representing the Southern Region defeated the East champions from Orange, Connecticut in the Final game to win the 2005 championship. For the second consecutive year, McLean Little League were South Region champions. This year they stole the show and captured the 2005 Little League Softball World Series Title!!!

In 2004, McLean Little League advanced to the Championship game of the Little League Softball World Series before losing to perennial power Midway Little League from Waco, Texas. Waco did not make the Little League Softball World Series in 2005. McLean has only 1 player returning from last year's team.
