BAT-A-THON® is back!
The BAT-A-THON® is MLL’s main fundraising event. Registration fees only cover a portion of what it takes to run the league and maintain our amazing complex. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to hold this important fundraiser last year. So, it is even more important that we hold a successful BAT-A-THON® this year!
BAT-A-THON® will be held from May19-23rd and will look a little different to accommodate COVID-19 Safety procedures. Your managers and team coordinators will receive more detailed information as we get closer to the event. But rest-assured, BAT-A-THON® will be just as exciting as ever with great food trucks and fun activities for all!
Here is a glance at what to look forward to:
-Instead of selecting from prizes based on the amount collected, we will be raffling off 10 amazing gift baskets each valued up to $1000! For every $25 raised, you will earn a raffle ticket that will enter you into a drawing for a gift basket of equipment, swag, gear and other exciting prizes. The more money you raise, the more chances you have to win!
-Every player at the bat-a-thon will receive a gift for participating but depending on how well they do, they have a chance to win additional prizes instantly. So swing HARD!!
-Teams with 100% participation and an average of $150 raised per player will win a pizza party. The team that raises the most amount will be recognized at the Closing Ceremonies and receive an additional exciting prize!
BAT-A-THON® is going Digital!
We are now offering both online and paper donations. Your players will now be able to conveniently collect donations from friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter.
This weekend, you will receive an email with a link to your player’s pledge page*. You do not need to login or change anything. Simply use the site to make a donation for whatever you can and share your player’s link with friends and family. You will also get to see in real-time how your team is doing compared to the rest of the league. So, let’s see which team raises the most!
We are shooting for 100% participation with a goal of $150 per player.
If you do not receive the email with your players page, please check your SPAM box first then reach out to Dana Yoo ([email protected]).
If you prefer using a paper pledge form, please use this pdf form. If using the paper form, be sure to submit the completed form and collected funds to your team coordinator before your actual BAT-A-THON® date. Your team coordinator will then submit your whole team’s donation to BAT-A-THON® coordinators at the time of your player’s scheduled BAT-A-THON®.
